Parking & Accessibility

Parking Info

  • General Parking: Parking is available in multiple lots around Historic Smithville, all within a short walk of the festival entrance and is first-come, first-served. Options include the lot next to Smithville’s famous waterwheel and the lot directly across the street, managed by Galloway Township’s Lady Warriors Softball Team. A small donation to the softball team is appreciated.

  • Designated Accessible Parking: Designated accessible parking spaces are available near the festival entrance. These spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis and require a valid handicap placard or license plate.

  • Drop-off Area: If accessible parking is full, a designated drop-off area near the entrance is available for those with mobility challenges.​

Festival Grounds

  • Wheelchair-Friendly Terrain: Most festival areas feature paved asphalt, packed gravel pathways, and brick pavers, ensuring accessibility for wheelchairs and mobility devices.

  • Footbridges: The footbridges in Historic Smithville have a gentle arch but are manageable for most wheelchairs and mobility scooters.

  • Rest Areas: Seating areas are available throughout the festival grounds for those needing a break.

Restrooms

  • Public Restrooms: Historic Smithville has permanent public restrooms located throughout the village.

  • Accessible Restrooms: ADA-compliant portable restrooms will also be available at multiple locations throughout the festival grounds.
