FROM PHILADELPHIA TO SMITHVILLE

By Train:

  • Take the NJ Transit Atlantic City Rail Line from 30th Street Station (Philadelphia) to Absecon Station (1 hr 20-40 min, $14-$22).

  • Take a taxi or rideshare from Absecon to Historic Smithville (10-15 min, $15-$25).

By Bus:

  • Take NJ Transit Bus 551 from Philadelphia (10th & Filbert St.) to Atlantic City Bus Terminal (1.5-2 hrs, $10-$15).

  • From Atlantic City, either:

    • Take NJ Transit Bus 559 to US-9 at Moss Mill Rd (20-30 min, ~$2-$3), then walk 150 yards to Historic Smithville.

    • Or take a taxi/rideshare to Historic Smithville (20 min, $25-$40).

FROM NEW YORK CITY TO SMITHVILLE

By Bus:

  • Take NJ Transit Bus 319 from New York Port Authority Bus Terminal to Atlantic City Bus Terminal (2.5-3 hrs, $30-$40 round trip).​

  • From Atlantic City, either:

    • Take NJ Transit Bus 559 to US-9 at Moss Mill Rd (20-30 min, ~$2-$3), then walk 150 yards to Historic Smithville.

    • Or take a taxi/rideshare to Historic Smithville (20 min, $25-$40).​
